A music director hires Tom to keep Jerry from pestering a singing elephant.

At Sheboygan Records, Inc., and agent is trying to get a new act passed Mr. Sheboygan which is a country singing elephant named Tundo. As the elephant is practicing his song in the concert hall, an hour before his performance, Jerry shows up and terrifies the elephant. Mr. Sheboygan hires Tom to get rid of Jerry so that the concert can go on. As Tundo is practicing, Jerry shows up again scaring the elephant up into the rafters. Tom arrives, but just as he does Tundo falls from the rafters right on top of Tom. This gives Tundo new lyrical inspiration. As the elephant continues his singing and practicing, Tom chases Jerry but Tundo always manages to land right on top of Tom. This works to the elephant's advantage as when the concert begins, Tundo is up in the rafters and lands right on Tom, who has finally caught Jerry. The crowd goes wild and a new act is born. The following day, Mr. Sheboygan tells Tom that the performance needs to have Tundo smashing Tom, but Tom is not to hip to the idea until more money is involved. As Tom is given his pay advance, Jerry comes in a scares Tundo into the air and then lands right on Tom. Jerry takes Tom's money and walks away.
